E-CONNECT – VISITOR CLASS
This class is for visitors to become more acquainted with Emmanuel, take a tour, and meet a Pastor. We meet the first Sunday of each month at 8:45 a.m. at Door 1. A continental breakfast is served.
FIVE FRIENDS
Pray for your five friends! We encourage you to pick five friends who are not yet followers of Christ and make a commitment to pray for them every day.
ANOINTING SERVICE
This morning we have a portion of our service designated for prayer and anointing. James 5:13-16 says, "Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." Anyone who has a prayer need is welcome to come forward and receive prayer. The person praying will place a small amount of oil on your forehead as they pray. The people praying for others are official and recognized Staff, Elders, Deacons, Life Group leaders, and Altar Workers. We ask that only those people pray for others during the anointing time.
ATTENTION PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS
Jesus loves children and adults with special needs. Just in case the person in your care has difficulty sitting quietly in the sanctuary we have created comfortable places around our foyers where today’s service can be viewed on television screens. Please take advantage of these places and continue to worship with us.
